the more i play the older games on the switch the more i realize how badly niantic has dropped the ball. there’s so many things they could be introducing but we get the same stuff over and over and over.

Dude, what event has NOT been PvP-focused lately, aside from some elements of GoFest? It seems every event video you end up saying, “I realize people who are not interested in PVP…” To your credit you present it objectively and say you wish Niantic would do more to make it more inclusive, but they don’t.

i dont see why people don't play Go Battle League, its literally the whole whole point to grind for Comm-Days. literally no point for them other than collecting them and then just have them sit there in their storage. just my opinion doe, if people get high for just playing/ catching 'mons, then more power to em'

Well I love every community day so I am excited for this one. I have a hundo that I will evolve and finally get enough candy XL to max out. I won't go all out but I'll casually play for the 3 hours and hopefully I'll get some good ones for GBL. It won't be good right away even with volt switch but Eelektross has some good moves in its moveset so there's potential. Glad to finally see a Pogo creator talking positively about this event!

I always skip community day classic. Don’t care much since already have the shiny. As for brand new for community day, I try to catch three shiny to complete the family and I’m done.

It doesn’t matter what move it gets it stats and charge moves are really bad it will be destroyed in go battle and never give Niantic any money they are crooks and liars

The remote raid pass is crap in my opinion. My friend wanted to make a raid he was standing in front of and wanted me to join in from home since there wasnt much time left. Sadly he had to buy himself another remote raid pass to raid with me. He already used his normal raid pass and I used a remote before we recognized this... I rejoined a few weeks back and so I don't know how it has been, but this kinda sucks. Furthermore, since we have a very small community in our town, hearing about those passes made us excited. Now we might have to start second or third accounts, just so we can play the game...

The Only reason I play community days lately is to get the new shiny

Well, I am 67 and I'm good health right now. My wife and I play together and she is not. Closest place with a gym and a pokestops is a 10 minute drive away. If we want to be outside, that requires that I provide walking assist or put her in her wheelchair and push it for here. Not exactly friendly for elderly or partially disabled.

The remote raid nerf really killed my local community and it's very rare to have someone outside to raid with me. I only did raids because I had a second phone until the visual update made my second phone no longer work with Go. Now I don't go outside to raid at all because what's the point when very rarely my invites get accepted. Which is annoying since I really wanted to raid Mega Pidgeots and Mega Charizards recently.

I did 2 raids to get the shiny! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I really wish Eelektross was a better pokemon, it's one of my favorites.

Where I'm from, the game got more enjoyable after the nerf because there were finally people willing to organize/participate in person meetups for events, and I come across more players on random walks. But I guess it's "worse" for people who want to stay inside. Yeah it's harder to make sure you can manage harder raids, but I still prefer how it is now. A better solution though probably would have been to have a higher limit of remote raids per day (like what, 10? I could go for 10.), a more reasonable price hike (I would have gone for 50% instead of 100%) and some kind of a new small bonus to in-person raids. Yes, it's "fun" to be able to farm up legendaries comfortably from your couch and spend limitless amounts of money (if you have it, of course), but without the nerf (or some kind of more reasonable nerf), the game would just become some other Pokemon game you play from home and would scale heavier on the pay-to-win side. And we would likely become stale or too "heavy" much faster, like it would also happen if we kept having crazy events every week - "power creep" is a concept that applies everywhere, not just in TCGs - you need upds and downs for something to achieve longevity. If Niantic has a goal in mind, it makes sense to take decisions that will help to achieve that goal. Yes, the customer is always right in choosing his preferences, but that doesn't mean the company is forced to offer the product we (some) say we (they) want.

Just going to get 3 shinies and be done with it.. wish they would do a totodile com day or something.

There goal is for one type player with avatar disaster 😂 and with RUclipsrs purchasing remote passes and pramoteing niantic has got what they want $2 a pop and control of how y’all play 😂 2024 Pokémon go is ☠️ shame also

I might be by myself but im enjoying recycled pokemon right now. Especially when its 2x stardust. I know i dont have to worry about IVs or anything else. Just catch and transfer unless its a hundo, nundo or shiny. It also a chance to take a break from grinding the game because there's nothing to really chase.

I have 3 kids. Raiding is so hard, there are no raids around me I have to go to the “downtown” area and the community events are right at my kids bed time. Raid passes gave me an option to explore the higher end game. I still walk and explore. My kids and I love the events.

as a free2play player getting a remote raid pass takes 4days (if you get 50 coins a day)to get 1 raid pass without you having a 100% chance to even catch the raid boss

Got a 15-14-15 but go god it took me 17 raids for a shiny
